About Lauren Flax
Company principal Lauren Flax began her career after receiving a graduate degree from the highly acclaimed New York School of Interior Design. While studying in New York, Lauren worked for two boutique firms, Ryan Korban and Alan Tanksley, which provided a first-hand approach to the nuances of the interior design business.
Shortly after graduating, Lauren returned to her hometown, Toronto to work at global architecture and development company IBI Group, where she collaborated on the design and build of the McGill Hospital in Montreal. Lauren went on to found Flax-Design in 2013 working on both residential and commercial projects. Lauren and her family recently relocated to the North Shore of Chicago in 2019.
